Delphia 31 - the latest design from the drawing boards of Delphia Yachts

The new Delphia 31 is designed to be a well-mannered craft, ideal for families seeking adventure on the water. From stem to stern, it is built to be functional, solid and very reliable in harsh weather conditions.
Even during long voyages, the D31 guarantees its occupants a sense of high comfort and safety. The self–draining cockpit with two lockers, the specifically designed anti-slip surface on the cockpit floor, the self–tailing winch and roller furling jib are just a few of the wealth of features to ensure the ultimate sailing experience that a craft in its class may offer.
Inside, the D31 is a perfect combination of space and ergonomics. The generously sized cockpit boasts teak laid seats and a bathing platform offering easy access to the water. The all-new interior with sumptuous sofas offers sleeping accommodation for up to six adults while panoramic windows flood the cabin with light. Apart from the exquisite mahogany finish, standard features include a cooker, fridge, shower room and a 150-litre fresh water tank. Below decks there is a 100-litre diesel tank to fuel the 18-horsepower Volvo Penta engine.

ST.PETERSBURG – POWER & SAILBOAT SHOW

The St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show, the largest boat show on the Gulf Coast, is set to sail into the Progress Energy Center for the Arts Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin and Albert Whitted Park in St. Petersburg, Fla., from Thursday, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011.

The show will feature an impressive selection of power boats and sailboats in water and on land, including a 40,000-square-foot clearspan tent housing all types of marine gear. Show-goers will find hundreds of power boats and sailboats including family cruisers, runabouts, fishing boats, magnificent sailing yachts, personal watercraft and much more.

In addition to the large selection of exhibits at this year's show, there will be an array of special events and fun and educational activities, including MARINE SEMINARS, the new Blue Wild Dive and Travel Show, and youth fishing clinics presented by the non-profit Hook The Future. Military personnel get free admission with an ID, and Kids 15 and under are Free!

Nomination for Delphia 1350 Escape for "European Powerboat of the Year Award 2012".

This prize is an initiative of Boote, the largest water sports magazine in Europe, in cooperation with 18 European Yacht- and Powerboat magazines. Baltic Regatta of Solitary Sailors - POLONEZ CUP

We are pleased to announce the imminent start of the Baltic Regatta of Solitary Sailors – Polonez Cup, which Delphia Yachts is a sponsor.
Baltic Regatta of Solitary Sailors – Polonez Cup is one of the oldest regatta events in Poland. They have a tradition dating back to 1973. The initiators of the lone race in the Baltic were Szczecin's captains Jerzy Siudy and Kazimierz Jaworski, who in 1973 organized a race on their own Świnoujście - Christianso - Świnoujście. To commemorate the voyage of Krzysztof Baranowski around the world on a yacht Polonez finished in 1973, the Baltic Regatta of Solitary Sailors Cup called the Polonez, the yacht - a symbol of Polish lone competitive sailing. The year 1983 was the last edition of this historic event. The main prize of a Cup is the perpetual "Cup Polonez"- it receives a captain who, in the shortest time of conversion will beat the route: start Świnoujście, which had to pass Christianso left side, finish Świnoujście.
Start the XII edition of the Baltic Polonez Cup will be held on August 16 at 09:00 in the roads of Swinoujscie. Completion ceremony of the regatta is scheduled for 20 August in Szczecin, at 18:00.

Delphia Yachts establishes new dealership with Sejlerliv Gruppen in Denmark

Delphia Yachts established new dealership with Sejlerliv Gruppen based in Randers in Denmark.

The company was founded in 1995 by Peter Poulsen. He is bottled up with sailing since childhood, with parents back in 1978 purchased their first sailboat. Peter Poulsen has always worked in business and in 1990 he ended up in the boating sector, at a local boat dealer in Randers. In 1995 began his own boat company - Sejlerliv.

In March 1997 the agency opened the exhibition in Randers. With a steady increase in turnover was launched a much-needed expansion in summer 2007. The existing space was expanded from 1,600 m2 to 2,650 m2. Apart from better exhibition facilities there where build a proper work shop for fitting in equipment in boat up to 50 foot.

After many months of preparatory bought A/S Knudshoved Harbour, owned by Peter Poulsen and his family in February 2009 the old DSB ferry port at Knudshoved / Nyborg on east Fyn (very central of Denmark). The aim is to rebuild the old ferry port to a modern marina. With a port basin of 342,000 m2 plus 205.000 m2 on land the marina will become one of the largest in Northern Europe. Sejlerliv Gruupen are moving the activities to the marina with a new showroom with 4000m2 in 2011-2012.

Delphia Yachts will become a part of the Sejlerliv Group. Peter Poulsen, owner of the Sejlerliv Gruppen, says: “I was looking for a well known brand that had already shown its value. Delphia Yachts established new dealership with Vira Yatcilik in Istanbul in Turkey.

Vira Yatcilik was founded in 2005 by Efe Özbil and Yunus Sonbay. During 5 years passed love for sailing to more than 800 people and thanks that, hundreds of their customers sailing with the Vira Yatcilik’ flag all around the world. The company pursues its selling activities and provides its sailing school, technical and charter services to its customers in the beautiful Southern Aegean city, Gocek and the historical shore of Istanbul, Kalamis which is located in the meeting point of Europe and the Asia.

Delphia Yachts signed a contract with the sailing clothes company - Henri Lloyd

“Wind and Water” boatshow, like every year are abundant in many events and associated events. August 6, 2010 the contract between the Delphia Yachts shipyard and sailing clothes manufacturer, Henri Lloyd was officially signed.
Delphia Yachts shipyard was represented by its co-owner - Wojciech Kot, while the company Henri Lloyd – Andrzej Schuetz, General Director.
The contract relates to creating a clothes collection – under Delphia brand.
Both sides are very satisfied with the signed contract and they hope for a fruitful cooperation in the future.

Delphia 47 - nominated for "Polish Yacht of the Year 2010" award

During the “Wind and Water” boatshow held on 5-8 August 2010 in Gdynia were handed nominations in the contest for the prize for the best sailing yacht and motor boat available on the Polish market: "Polish Yacht of the Year 2010 ".
This contest is organizing by editors of the magazine "Żagle" in cooperation with the organizers of the "Wind and Water" boatshow. This is the first edition of the competition. Prizes are awarded in six categories.
Delphia 47 was nominated in the category Sailboats more than 7.5 m. Results will be announced during the "Wind and Water” boatshow in Warsaw, March 2011.

Delphia 47 - winner of the GDYNIA YACHT DESIGN competition - WIND AND WATER 2010

For the first time, the GDYNIA YACHT DESIGN - WIND AND WATER 2010 award was presented at the “Wind and Water” boatshow 2010 in Gdynia. The award was established by the President of the city of Gdynia.
The organiser of the contest was YACHT - EXPO Ltd., and was held under the patronage of the Institute of Industrial Design.
An international jury composed of Birgit Schnaase (German designer, dealing with interior design of sailing yachts and luxury motor boats), Leszek Gonciarz (architect, designer and yacht constructor), Janusz Kaniewski (world-renowned designer for brands such as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and Jaguar) and Stanislaw Iwiński (sailor and journalist of the “Żagle” magazine) assessed the submitted yachts and boats on two criteria: appearance and design.
The main prize in the category Sailing Yachts was awarded to the flagship of the Delphia Yachts range, the Delphia 47.

Delphia Yachts establishes dealership in Brazil

Delphia Yachts has established new dealership with Forum Marine, based at the Marina da Gloria, in the heart of Rio de Janeiro.
Forum Marine was established in 2004 by Thomas Duhen. Thomas always held a passion for sailing and for yacht design. He began sailing at 12 years old, and at 16 was already a skipper and a sailing instructor in a sailing school in Brittany, France. He has an extensive sailing experience in the Mediterranean and Bay of Biscay. Thomas has also developed a fine reputation as a broker of sailing boats, motor boats and ancillary equipment.
Forum Marine has now been appointed exclusive distributor of the Delphia brand in Brazil. Thomas commented on the appointment “We are excited to lead Delphia’s yachts to the Brazilian market. In May 2010, Delphia Yachts was proud to announce a venture with True North Yachting based in Limassol, Cyprus as a dealership for the Delphia brand.
Established in 2002 by Andreas Tavelis, RYA / MCA Yacht Master Instructor, True North Yachting offered RYA training of all levels of sailing proficiency, both theoretical and practical. Today True North Yachting is the largest sailing school in Cyprus and also runs its training courses in Lebanon and Egypt. The company is also engaged for consultancy work in the yachting industry in addition to other activities, including yacht management and maintenance, as well as delivery of sailing yachts to various locations around the globe.

The test started at 1 am in the Górki Zachodnie in Gdańsk. With winds 6 Beaufort yacht behaved without any complaints.
19 May 2010. the flagship’ unit of the yard were tested by "Criusing World" journalists: Bill Springer, David Gillespie.

All guests were satisfied with the test run. Delphia 47 alike sailing on the engine and the sails, was reversible and responded flawlessly during performanced maneuvers.

Delphia Yachts shipyard launches new range of tenders

Drawing upon its many years of experience in the production of luxury sailing yachts and motor boats, Delphia Yachts has opened a new division to specialize in the production of luxury tenders.
Using the highest quality materials and latest technology available, work is currently underway on the construction of the two models, the Tender Limousine and the Tender Open.
The 10-metre Tender Limousine is designed to shuttle guests from ship to shore in style. It features an exclusive Art Deco styled interior and is fully equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, an ice maker. It boast a retractable roof and leather upholstery for maximum in comfort and luxury.
The 10-metre Tender Open is a recreational boat. It is specifically designed with water sports in mind experience and, among other equipment, features fittings for waterskiing.
The design has been created in collaboration with a renowned London design studio.

Uttern boats production in the shipyard Delphia Yachts

Delphia Yachts, famous throughout the world as a manufacturer of sailing yachts, also produces a range of motor boats. With some 20 years’ experience and its professional reputation, Delphia is trusted partner to numerous companies in the marine industry such as Brunswick Marine in EMEA. Brunswick Marine owns several brands including Quicksilver, Sea Ray and Arvor and have decided to entrust the Delphia Yachts boatyard with their next project - the production of Uttern boats.
Uttern motor boats have gained their greatest popularity in the Scandinavian market. The Delphia Yachts boatyard currently produces 8 Uttern models ranging in length from 5.8 to 6.9 meters.

New yacht Delphia Delphia Escape 1050 EKO premiere

On 11-14 March 2010 during the Wind and Water boat show in Warsaw, Delphia Yachts will present its new yacht - Delphia Escape 1050 EKO. It is a modern and environmentally friendly motor yacht. It is an excellent compromise that combines the functionality, space and aesthetics. Because of electrically drive can also swim in the zones of silence. Yacht is addressed not only to individuals who appreciate the comfort of resting on the water, but also to charter companies and resorts organizing holiday on the water. Delphia Escape 1050 EKO may be conducted without a license.

Delphia 46cc - a new project from Delphia Yachts

In order to meet the ever-growing demands of its clients, Delphia Yachts boatyard is now developing a brand new design – the Delphia 46cc.
This will be a yacht designed especially for customers who appreciate comfort when sailing. This premium model will boast a central cockpit and provide for the needs of even the most demanding of customers.
The spacious central cockpit is designed to accommodate up to six people in comfort. The large teak deck provides ample opportunity for sunbathing while the conveniently located bathing platform beckons you to the water.
The sumptuous spacious interior of the Delphia 46cc bristles with all the facilities one would expect from a luxury yacht of this caliber. The deck saloon, lavishly equipped with sofas and a dining table, allows its guests to enjoy the vista while dining or relaxing. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to easily prepare even the most exquisite of meals.
The yacht has two large cabins. The master cabin is equipped with a large bathroom and additional seating makes one really feel at home. The hospitable bow cabin also has en suite bathroom with a separate shower. The yacht is also fitted out with an additional bathroom accessed from the saloon as well as increased stowage capacity.
The yacht is designed to incorporate only the highest quality materials and advanced electronics.
Designed by world-renowned yacht designer Andrew Skrzat, the Delphia 46cc aims to ensure the ultimate luxury at sea. The elegant interior styling is a creation of Birgit Schnaase of Schnaase Interior Design, a designer who is much in demand within the yachting industry.

Nomination for the European Yacht of the Year 2010.

The Delphia 47 has been nominated for European Yacht of the Year 2010 in the family yacht category. The results, as each year, will be announced at the BOOT Düsseldorf fair in January 2010.
