“Wind and Water” boatshow, like every year are abundant in many events and associated events. August 6, 2010 the contract between the Delphia Yachts shipyard and sailing clothes manufacturer, Henri Lloyd was officially signed.
Delphia Yachts shipyard was represented by its co-owner - Wojciech Kot, while the company Henri Lloyd – Andrzej Schuetz, General Director.
The contract relates to creating a clothes collection – under Delphia brand.
Both sides are very satisfied with the signed contract and they hope for a fruitful cooperation in the future.
Delphia 47 - nominated for "Polish Yacht of the Year 2010" award
During the “Wind and Water” boatshow held on 5-8 August 2010 in Gdynia were handed nominations in the contest for the prize for the best sailing yacht and motor boat available on the Polish market: "Polish Yacht of the Year 2010 ".
This contest is organizing by editors of the magazine "Żagle" in cooperation with the organizers of the "Wind and Water" boatshow. This is the first edition of the competition. Prizes are awarded in six categories.
Delphia 47 was nominated in the category Sailboats more than 7.5 m. Results will be announced during the "Wind and Water” boatshow in Warsaw, March 2011.
Delphia 47 - winner of the GDYNIA YACHT DESIGN competition - WIND AND WATER 2010
For the first time, the GDYNIA YACHT DESIGN - WIND AND WATER 2010 award was presented at the “Wind and Water” boatshow 2010 in Gdynia. The award was established by the President of the city of Gdynia.
The organiser of the contest was YACHT - EXPO Ltd., and was held under the patronage of the Institute of Industrial Design.
An international jury composed of Birgit Schnaase (German designer, dealing with interior design of sailing yachts and luxury motor boats), Leszek Gonciarz (architect, designer and yacht constructor), Janusz Kaniewski (world-renowned designer for brands such as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and Jaguar) and Stanislaw Iwiński (sailor and journalist of the “Żagle” magazine) assessed the submitted yachts and boats on two criteria: appearance and design.
The main prize in the category Sailing Yachts was awarded to the flagship of the Delphia Yachts range, the Delphia 47.
Delphia Yachts establishes dealership in Brazil
Delphia Yachts has established new dealership with Forum Marine, based at the Marina da Gloria, in the heart of Rio de Janeiro.
Forum Marine was established in 2004 by Thomas Duhen. Thomas always held a passion for sailing and for yacht design. He began sailing at 12 years old, and at 16 was already a skipper and a sailing instructor in a sailing school in Brittany, France. He has an extensive sailing experience in the Mediterranean and Bay of Biscay. Thomas has also developed a fine reputation as a broker of sailing boats, motor boats and ancillary equipment.
Forum Marine has now been appointed exclusive distributor of the Delphia brand in Brazil. Thomas commented on the appointment “We are excited to lead Delphia’s yachts to the Brazilian market. Delphia has a strong reputation for the high quality that Brazilian customers are looking for. Delphia’s exceptional design characteristics allow you to really enjoy true sailing. Delphia Yachts establishes dealership in Cyprus
In May 2010, Delphia Yachts was proud to announce a venture with True North Yachting based in Limassol, Cyprus as a dealership for the Delphia brand.
Established in 2002 by Andreas Tavelis, RYA / MCA Yacht Master Instructor, True North Yachting offered RYA training of all levels of sailing proficiency, both theoretical and practical. Today True North Yachting is the largest sailing school in Cyprus and also runs its training courses in Lebanon and Egypt. The company is also engaged for consultancy work in the yachting industry in addition to other activities, including yacht management and maintenance, as well as delivery of sailing yachts to various locations around the globe.
Since May 2010 True North Yachting Ltd is the exclusive distributor of the Delphia brand in Cyprus. Opting to become the exclusive distributor in Cyprus, True North Yachting also confirmed that the Delphia brand represents quality, reliability and comfort. On 17 and 19 May 2010 in Gdańsk took place tests of Delphia 47
The first test carried out journalists from the magazine "Żagle". The crew were: Dominik Życki, Stanislaw Iwiński. The test started at 1 am in the Górki Zachodnie in Gdańsk. With winds 6 Beaufort yacht behaved without any complaints.19 May 2010. the flagship’ unit of the yard were tested by "Criusing World" journalists: Bill Springer, David Gillespie. All guests were satisfied with the test run. Delphia 47 alike sailing on the engine and the sails, was reversible and responded flawlessly during performanced maneuvers.

Delphia Yachts shipyard launches new range of tenders
Drawing upon its many years of experience in the production of luxury sailing yachts and motor boats, Delphia Yachts has opened a new division to specialize in the production of luxury tenders.
Using the highest quality materials and latest technology available, work is currently underway on the construction of the two models, the Tender Limousine and the Tender Open.
The 10-metre Tender Limousine is designed to shuttle guests from ship to shore in style. It features an exclusive Art Deco styled interior and is fully equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, an ice maker. It boast a retractable roof and leather upholstery for maximum in comfort and luxury.
The 10-metre Tender Open is a recreational boat. It is specifically designed with water sports in mind experience and, among other equipment, features fittings for waterskiing.
The design has been created in collaboration with a renowned London design studio.
Uttern boats production in the shipyard Delphia Yachts
Delphia Yachts, famous throughout the world as a manufacturer of sailing yachts, also produces a range of motor boats. New yacht Delphia Delphia Escape 1050 EKO premiere
On 11-14 March 2010 during the Wind and Water boat show in Warsaw, Delphia Yachts will present its new yacht - Delphia Escape 1050 EKO. It is a modern and environmentally friendly motor yacht. It is an excellent compromise that combines the functionality, space and aesthetics. Because of electrically drive can also swim in the zones of silence. Delphia 46cc - a new project from Delphia Yachts
In order to meet the ever-growing demands of its clients, Delphia Yachts boatyard is now developing a brand new design – the Delphia 46cc.
This will be a yacht designed especially for customers who appreciate comfort when sailing. This premium model will boast a central cockpit and provide for the needs of even the most demanding of customers.
The spacious central cockpit is designed to accommodate up to ten people in comfort. The large teak deck provides ample opportunity for sunbathing while the conveniently located bathing platform beckons you to the water.
The sumptuous spacious interior of the Delphia 46cc bristles with all the facilities one would expect from a luxury yacht of this caliber. The deck saloon, lavishly equipped with sofas and a dining table, allows its guests to enjoy the vista while dining or relaxing. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to easily prepare even the most exquisite of meals.
The yacht has two large cabins. The master cabin is equipped with a large bathroom and additional seating makes one really feel at home. The hospitable bow cabin also has en suite bathroom with a separate shower. The yacht is also fitted out with an additional bathroom accessed from the saloon as well as increased stowage capacity.
The yacht is designed to incorporate only the highest quality materials and advanced electronics.
Designed by world-renowned yacht designer Andrew Skrzat, the Delphia 46cc aims to ensure the ultimate luxury at sea. The elegant interior styling is a creation of Birgit Schnaase of Schnaase Interior Design, a designer who is much in demand within the yachting industry.

The Delphia 47 has been nominated for European Yacht of the Year 2010 in the family yacht category. The results, as each year, will be announced at the BOOT Düsseldorf fair in January 2010.
